WordPress Developer / Front-End Developer – Vadodara

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer / Front-End Developer to join our digital marketing agency. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in website development along with a solid understanding of SEO-friendly structure, page speed optimization, and performance enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage WordPress websites (Theme-based & Custom)
• Convert Figma/UI designs into responsive WordPress websites
• Build pixel-perfect, mobile-friendly layouts
• Handle complete website development lifecycle (design to deployment)
• Ensure SEO-friendly website structure (On-page & Technical SEO)
• Optimize websites for speed, performance & Core Web Vitals
• Identify & fix technical SEO issues (broken links, redirects, indexing, etc.)
• Perform malware scanning, security checks & troubleshooting
• Manage domain, hosting, DNS & server integrations
• Set up business emails, SMTP configuration & troubleshooting
• Maintain database, backups & website security
• Handle website maintenance, updates & bug fixing
• Work closely with SEO & design team for better performance

Required Skills

• Strong experience in WordPress Development
• Experience in Figma to WordPress conversion
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Hands-on experience in PHP & MySQL (Database Management)
• Knowledge of custom themes & plugin customization
• Experience with hosting, cPanel, DNS & domain integration
• Knowledge of SMTP setup & email troubleshooting
• Familiar with malware scanning & website security practices
• Strong understanding of technical SEO (schema, URL structure, redirects, indexing)
• Experience in page speed optimization (GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights)

Tools & Technologies (Must Know / Preferred)

SEO Plugins : Rank Math or Yoast SEO (on-page SEO, schema, optimization)

Backup & Security

• UpdraftPlus or Duplicator (backup & migration)
• Wordfence Security (malware scanning & firewall)

Performance & Caching

• LiteSpeed Cache or WP Rocket
• Core Web Vitals & speed optimization techniques

Forms & Functionality : WPForms or Contact Form 7 (lead forms & integrations)

Utilities & Maintenance

• Plugins/tools for database cleanup, image optimization, uptime monitoring

AI Tools (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub Copilot for productivity and development support

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / IT / MCA / Computer Engineering / Web Development or related field
• OR relevant certifications / practical experience in WordPress development
• Minimum 1–3+ years of experience (Agency experience preferred)
